Fat-free cottage cheese, non fat cream cheese, non fat ricotta cheese, low fat Swiss cheese, feta cheese and Parmesan cheese
Crackers
Low-carb crackers
Dips
Hummus, avocado spread, olive tapenade, pesto dip (made with olive oil), soybean dip (made with tahini)
Fruit
Olives and avocado only for first 3 weeks and then berries, apples, apricots, cherries, grapefruit, nectarines, peaches, pears and plums
Nuts & Seeds
Almond butter, walnuts, macadamia nuts, hazelnuts, almonds, pistachios, pecans, Brazil nuts, cashews, pine nuts - after 3 weeks can have pumpkin and sunflower seeds
Powder Supplements
Egg protein powder, vegetable protein powder and whey protein powder
Shakes & Smoothies
Smoothie made with fruit, nuts and protein powder - no milk or yogurt
Vegetables
Non-starchy vegetables, such as celery, cucumbers, snow peas, bell peppers, broccoli and cauliflower
