A Nutritionist Weighs in...

If you can drink a daily protein shake and track every calorie and carb, you may succeed

One main issue is calorie and carbohydrate counting. If you have never done calorie or carbohydrate counting, you will quickly discover how burdensome it can be.

You'll need to keep records of everything that you consume (eat and drink) everyday until it's time to stop phase two. You'll have to carry the Curves book with you to restaurants and look up the calorie or carbohydrate content of every item you wish to order.

A second issue is the protein shake that you need to consume daily. Although the founder of this plan claims that the shake tastes great, that remains to be seen. Yes, there is a Curves brand shake available. A minimum of one shake (within the specified protein and carbohydrate grams allotted) is required daily on this plan.
