A Nutritionist Weighs in...

This is a very complex and detailed plan that requires a full lifestyle overhaul; it will radically alter a dieter's life! It is interesting to see if the assessment for blood type fits your characteristics, but there is so much information that it is hard to absorb or believe all of it. Naturopathic principles do not always coincide with nutrition-related evidence.

The menu plans and recipes seem to offer healthy and tasty foods, but the portions suggested for weight loss are very small and it does not seem that they would provide adequate calories - leaving you hungry. There are a limited number of recipes in the book, but many more are available on the Web site.

You might be able to eat right for your type, if you live alone and eat at home

There are just too many restrictions to keep track of and live a normal life, For example, all the limits on spices and condiments would make eating out nearly impossible, unless you are fully aware of every ingredient (including salt and pepper). In addition, this plan would be very hard to apply, unless everyone in your household shares the same blood type!

  • Exercise is very important
  • Unique concept
